Evaluation Policy
Submitted articles undergo an initial screening where the editors and Editorial Board determine whether they meet the journal's formal requirements. Articles that do not meet these requirements may be returned to their authors.
After this initial review, articles will undergo double-blind peer review.
Once manuscripts are received, reviewers will have approximately four weeks to issue their evaluation.
Reviewers will assess:
- The theoretical, methodological, and/or analytical framework.

- Clarity, analysis, and coherence.

- Significant contributions to the discipline of history, the humanities, or the social sciences that contribute to the generation of knowledge.

- The use of primary and/or secondary sources, and the relationship between these sources and the arguments presented in the proposal.

In the event of discrepancies between the two reviews, the text will be sent to a third reviewer. When the evaluation is favorable, the authors must submit the revised version, addressing the reviewers' comments, within 45 days. This revised version of the article must include explanations of the changes made and the points that were discarded, along with a justification of the decision, as well as a change log that will be sent to the authors.
No changes will be permitted to the texts after they have been accepted for publication.
