Revista Meyibó

Meyibó is a history journal published by the Instituto de Investigaciones Históricas of the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California. Its objective is to promote research, dialogue, and the updating of knowledge regarding the historical construction of borders in general, as well as the history of northern Mexico, the southern United States, and the relations between both countries, without avoiding the dialogue between the issues of this vast region and those of other areas. The chronological scope of the research may span from indigenous peoples prior to contact with Europeans to the present day.

The journal accepts works focused on historical and historiographical studies from the diverse perspectives of the historical discipline, without declining the adoption of theories and methods from other disciplines. It publishes unpublished articles, source studies for history, and critical reviews of recent historiographical production. It is published semi-annually and features original articles subjected to external double-blind peer review.
